I hate that it's come to this, but I'm going to have to go on hiatus. Indefinitely.
I'm finally enrolled in time-consuming upper level courses that I can't just skirt by in, and I'm still working part-time at Office Depot. Maybe things will calm down after I adjust to my schedule, but I can't say with certainty. To everyone I got hyped about the Marauder PSL-- I'm truly sorry (especially to you, Mikell). I'd much rather be playing than reading about dead guys I just dgaf about.
But some good news: I FINALLY GOT MY POTTERMORE ACCEPTANCE EMAIL. GoldNox190 << Add it, bitches. And comment with your usernames so I'll know who you are.

We ARE still doing the Marauder PSL. Even if I've been dead Mikell's been working her ass off on the community page (which looks BEAUTIFULLLLL). Luckily I'm off Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. So I'm definitely getting SOMETHING done.

A NOTE ABOUT THE "APPLICATION" PROCESS: • This is basically an invite only game. If you're invited in, either Mikell and I have played with you or a trust friend of ours has. Samples aren't necessary unless you just feel the need. Maybe it helps with your back story to log something quick? Applications have no specific format/requirements (but here's an example just for a reference). You give us what you feel is necessary. If there needs to be any additions/revisions, we'll ask for them.
• DEFINITELY set in real-time 1978-1979. Marauder kiddies would have JUST graduated.
• Original characters are O-KAY. To some extent. Like, parents of known canon characters, or maybe close relatives. Don't just... create someone out of thin air. Give them some connection to what's already canon.
• Try and hold a PB if you can. Just so there isn't any sad-face rejections if you're person of choice is already taken. I don't want to be the asshat who has to break the news.

OK, well, considering we've had very limited time to talk to each other lately (my new Office Depot job + her usually busy schedule ANYWAY), Mikell and I haven't come up with MUCH in regard to the potential game. Basically, we want your input. But what we have so far:• "Moderation" will be lax. I think there obviously needs to be SOME sort of application process (can't just nab whoever you want then never flesh them out-- not fair to others), but a novel and samples won't be necessary. We know you guys. And we trust your judgement if you want to invite outside friends that neither of us know. Basically the application is left up to you. Include what you feel necessary.
• I agree with Liana (Elle, for those of you who haven't caught up) about the time-frame. Post-warts definitely gives us more playable characters. It's my personal choice and Mikell's too. But we're pretty much leaving it up to vote. As is the time frame for if it WERE post-warts. Right after school? What do you guys want?
• It won't be a completely 'free flow' kind of game. Mikell and I (though mostly her because she's way better at plotting and and and BOOM, look, I just exploded) will work out plots. Fun stuffs for everyone. Everyone deserves the chance to have involvement beyond social interaction. It gets boring just doing that.
• OC acceptability! Like if you wanted to play Zacharias' dad (who I'll definitely be picking up, so NYEH), then go for it. You know. Just make sure they have SOME tie to someone in the game. And that it isn't obscure/weird. But like I said, we trust you guys. And that's the most we've got so far. So, who's all still interested? And if so, give us some feedback. Pleaaaaase.
