Not even two weeks after finding out I'm an aunt, my sister has a miscarriage. Just yesterday we were giving my brother-in-law nursery rhyme books for father's day and making up jokes and new nicknames and what the baby would call us.

Can life just STOP shitting on my family for fucking five minutes. My mom just lost her uncle, our medical bills are bleeding us dry, I've just been diagnosed with OCD on top of everything else, and now this.

	I'm so sorry, love. <3 My aunt had two miscarriages during her marriage. It sounds weird, but she still calls them by their names whenever the subject comes up, if only because they meant a lot to us long before they were born too. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	My sister-in-law's had three miscarriages (and one full term healthy baby), but only one of them was far enough along that we'd nicknamed him/her. We called him/her "Stewie" after the family guy character. (Reply to this) (Parent)
